UK nuclear power stations – ‘Stress test’ progress report
The UK’s nuclear power stations have all started ‘stress tests’ as part of an agreement to test all such facilities across Europe, the Office for Nuclear Regulation confirms today. Progress reports were required by 15 September, to confirm both that licensees of nuclear power stations had started the tests and that they were on schedule to complete them by 31 October. ONR’s review of the tests must be sent to Europe by 31 December.
